What is the gameplay of Hades? Hades is an original rogue-lite game that combines quick-paced action and a compelling story that is reimagined in a Greek underworld. Fight the god of death as you hack and hack your way through the Underworld, in this acclaimed game by Supergiant Games, the creators of Bastion and Transistor. The game starts by dropping you into the Underworld and is surrounded by the shadows of dead souls as well as the river Styx. The player is also able to reunite the lovers Orpheus & Eurydice and bring back Achilles the way he was before as well as unravel the mystery that surrounds Hades' family. The House of Hades also allows the player to earn rare rewards and unlock a variety of decorative items to be used in the next game. Supergiant has confirmed that an expansion of Hades is in the in the works, and will introduce a new character known as Melinoe to the story.
